Those were the goals I set. Obviously I haven't updated in a while - on monday this week I was 212.5lbs (i should have been 208.75) I am a bit behind...except - when i stood on the scales this morning I was down to 208 so I need to lose 1lb by monday to be back on track! YAY!?

Hopefully by prom I can make it below the 200lbs mark - ideally I would like it to be 196lbs cause then I would be 14stone - the weight I was when I graduated from school! Insanity! 13 years later and I could be back to that weight - it would be awesome. Onwards and downwards (and hopefully updating more often)

So Moo was here and my weight went down and up by not too much. Didn't really lose didn't really gain. As of yesterday tho I was 222 so down 27 lbs since I started. 1 more lb to go to hit the 2 stone mark, I should be doing that by the middle of this week but I shall go back to updating this silly thing on a Monday

(hee as a side note from my little chart thing - by yesterday I was meant to be 222.75 to stay on track...so I am 3/4 of a lb under where i was aiming for...good news!)

Mom is here visiting so I have been out to eat a fair amount, trying to make good choice and apparently they haven't been horrendous but not perfect either since it was a smaller amount lost this week.

I think the same will be true this week cause we are going out for a real dinner tomorrow night but I shall try and be good the rest of the week and then the weekend once she has gone home and hopefully i can make up for the night out tomorrow.

Heh another 5.5lbs to go to 2 stone lost.

Week 4

Only 1lb down this week - I guess at least it is down rather than being a plus number. I've been feeling shitty most of the week, finally completely called things off with B - it was the right thing to do but he didn't take it well (even tho supposedly he was ok with us just being friends when I told him it would never go any further than that...well he wasn't happy) I guess that being stressed made me want to run to my old friend food - the weekend esp cause I was out with friends and ended up eating a burger and fries (having already had a couple of slices of pizza for lunch) some wine and then snacks whilst we were in the Buffy showing. That probably cost me a lb of weight loss but I had a good time and I really just needed a night off.

Today I go grocery shopping so I will buy lots of things from whole foods that both appeal and are good for me (it'll cost a fortune but isn't that always the way with healthy foods!)

231 this week...heh that is 1lb lighter than I was when I came to NY for my 21st birthday...10 years later. Hopefully at least another 2.25lbs this week. Moomy arrives on the 4th April and I know that for the 10 days she is here we will go out a fair amount and I shall be trying just to maintain my weight and not put on.

Slower this week obviously. I need to step up the exercise but until i sort out my schedule that's going to be hard - I'm trying to walk further these days and will be doing yoga twice this week I think - will see how it goes!

Setting Goals and blogging

I have been dieting for over half my life - I lose a stone (14lbs) and then put weight back on - usually what I had lost + some more so over a long time I have had a general upward trend. Yes, I am down now significantly from where I was at my heaviest and I have stayed 2 stone below that for a little while but now it is time to lose some more (and keep it off)

Having lost 14lbs in the last 2 weeks I guess I am now in my own personal "danger zone" *starts singing* This time however I intend to keep going downwards. So goals. When Paige and I started doing weight watchers the aim was for each of us to lose 50lbs by the 4th August. From where I started that meant that I would need to lose 2.25lbs a week from the 26th Feb to the 4th August.

My overall goal? 100lbs (not from my heaviest but from where I started at the end of Feb) That would take me down to 149lbs...it has been so many years since I have been at that weight that I have no idea what my body would look like (but i'm excited to find out) - once I get there I shall review, that would be the very top end of the acceptable range for someone of my height.

For the total weight loss goal I would reach my target on the 30th december 2007 if i continued to lose 2.25lbs a week. Not as soon as I would like but given how long I have been overweight it would be a major accomplishment.

But concentrating on the short term - my first MAJOR goal - 50lbs (or a weight of 199lbs) by 4th August 2007. My current weight? 235lbs - so I have 36lbs to go. Because of the weight loss I have had in the last couple of weeks it means that in theory I only need to lose 1.75lbs per week from now til then...I am still aiming for 2.25lbs a week in actuality and just to reach target before the target date or be lighter by target date (if i lose the 2.25lbs then I would be 187 (a loss of 61.5lbs)

The figures below are based on reaching the goal of 50lbs by 4th August

So i had started a diet at the end of the last year. It was a detox thing and whilst it started off good it really didn't stay that way - christmas and new year, followed by a trip to LA and then a ton of people visiting us here and i just didn't stay on it.

heh my weight on monday was back up to 249 :| (shit)

So i went on weight watchers...I think that will work better for me cause this way i can eat proper food (well have a bit more flexibility in terms of actually being allowed a treat once in a while) whilst still having to eat healthily and being able to monitor what I am eating online.

Weigh in will be on a monday morning, excercise starts this monday - yoga, gym , swimming to start with.

Oh - aims

The first month is to lose a stone (14lbs)so by the 25th March (my last day of term)
